Please see the below details from Colleen Long from the CRD for Saturday, May14, 930am-1230. Gonzales Hill Restoration Session: · As the parking lot at the park is so small, it would be helpful if folks that live nearby the park could walk or bike to the site. · Staff will meet the group at 9:30am in the parking lot of the park with all of the tools and supplies (clippers, loppers, gloves, safety vests, safety glasses, tarps) along with some pocket snacks, juice boxes and water for refilling water bottles. · At this point, they are calling for a chance of showers with a high of 14 °C. · Please remember to dress for the weather and wear some sturdy footwear. · Though many of the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, we ask that you do not attend the session if you are not feeling well, have any COVID-19 symptoms and/or if you are required to self-isolate.
